 Abstract:  Paul Hill, Jr. (1945 - ) is a civic leader, social worker, author, publisher, educator, researcher, and founder of the Rites of Passage Program and the Greater Cleveland Kwanzaa Alliance. The collection consists of an agenda, articles, awards and recognitions, brochure and information sheet related to the Rites of Passage Program, a business card, calendars, correspondence, a diary, drawings, fliers, a guidebook entitled "Transformation: A guide for Adulthood Development", a handbook entitled "Youth Opportunities Unlimited 1988 Community Project Handbook", invitations, letters, a manual entitled "Rites of Passage Forward to the Past: Adolescent Rites of Passage”, meeting minutes, memos, newsletters, newspaper clippings, news releases, notes, poems, program booklets, proposal applications, reading material entitled "Kwanzaa: Origin, Concepts, Practice", reports and budget related to the Greater Cleveland Kwanzaa Alliance, and syllabuses and class schedules.

 Abstract:  Ronald Brown and his wife, Isabelle Brown, were community activists in Cleveland, Ohio, involved in local, national, and international social and philanthropic agencies. Ronald Brown was one of the founders and vice president of Tremco Manufacturing Company and a management consultant and author. He was particularly involved with the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court, the Ohio Dept. of Aging, and the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Board of Education. His wife, Isabelle Brown, was especially involved with the National Council of Jewish Woman and the International Council of Jewish Women. The collection consists of biographical information, miscellaneous correspondence and documents, speeches, brochures, clippings, notes and scrapbooks and photographs.

 Abstract:  Thomas Campbell was an author, community leader, and professor and university administrator who co-founded the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University and served as its director. Campbell served as president of the City Club of Cleveland, and was instrumental in opening its doors to women. He directed the Cleveland Heritage Program for Cleveland Public Library. He ran for mayor of Cleveland, Ohio, in 1977. He founded the Irish American Archives Society and was deeply involved in the Irish American community of Cleveland, as well as numerous other groups in the Cleveland, Ohio area. The collection consists of agendas, awards, biographical data, correspondence, diaries, a dissertation, examination papers, flyers, invitations, magazine articles, memberships, minutes, newsletters, newspaper clippings, photographs, plays, poems, programs, recipes, reports, resumes, speeches, workshops and writings.
